NHS Test and Trace
To comply with the Government’s guidelines, you will be asked to provide your contact details each time you visit our pub, our sign in sheet will be located at our entrance (via the back door, as we now operate in a one way system). This will assist with the NHS Test and Trace scheme and help to contain the spread of COVID-19. We will only share your contact details with NHS Test and Trace if required. We will not share or use your details for any other purpose, your details will only remain on the premises for the 21 days, then they will be stored and kept accordingly.
Procedures and Measures in place
We have made sure all the correct equipment and procedures are in place here at The Plough Inn.
When reaching the pub on arrival, you will notice that we now operate in a one way system, entrance at the rear of the pub, exit at the front. You will be asked to sign in at our sign in station located at the entrance, this is for track and trace purposes (please see above for track and trace details). You will then see sign posted to wait at the hosts desk to be served and seated, to which then they will take you to your seat after being encouraged to use hand sanitizer on entering into the pub atmosphere.
You will notice posters, and floor stickers located around the pub explaining 2-1 metre distancing rules where possible. All tables will be allocated 1 metre apart, you will be given table service only (if you are drinking in our beer gardens, you will have to come up to the bar to place your orders but will be asked to step away once ordered- all while our one way system is still in operation). We will be using takeaway/ one use menus for each customer, these will then be destroyed after.
You will notice the toilets having a cleaning schedule, they will be monitored and checked and cleaned every half an hour to an hour. We have upped our already high standard of deep cleaning in between each customer.
There is to strictly be NO standing or socialising in the bar or surrounding areas- you will see these posters located around the bar area to support this.
We are currently working to a reduced staff team to comply with limiting the amount of staff we have on our premises, so please take this into consideration when coming to join us. All staff are to wear masks/ visors and have been professionally trained in the Coronavirus Certification of Hospitality Industry- as well as been updated with our personal changes to the pub too. We have put up Perspex screens where possible (at the bar and host desk), for our protection as well as our customers.
You will notice hand sanitizing station around the pub, one at the entrance and exit- outside the toilet area. We have then allocated 3 bottles around the bar for those coming to the bar to order and lastly at our sign in station. We then have more sanitizer bottles behind the bar all for our staff to use- they will sanitizer every time they serve a different customer and have been instructed and ensured of this.
It is essential to us that we do everything in our power to keep us all safe- The safety of our team and our customers is something we take extremely serious and we can assure you that we have taken every precaution we possibly could and extra. But none of this can be possible without your help in supporting us by sticking to all the new rules and changes. Please remember to keep your distance were possible, remember general hygiene and know that our staff are doing everything in our power to go above and beyond for you all!
